The extraction speed for this dripper is relatively slow compared to other single-hole drippers, so you can bring out rich flavors of coffee to its full potential. The absence of ribs at the top half keeps paper filter attached to the dripper,preventing water to bypass the coffee, while the ribs on the lower half create air channels for smooth water flow.

The Kono Meimon dripper is a classic Japanese conical dripper (1-2 or 4 cup) known for producing a rich, full-bodied, and sweet cup. It features short vertical ribs only at the bottom, which reduces bypass, creates a faster flow than a Hario V60, and results in high-clarity, consistent, and aromatic coffee.
