Ethiopian Lalesa Coffee
This amazing coffee from the Gedeb region in Ethiopia is a heirloom variety which is dried using the natural(dry) process. This is done by drying the whole coffee fruit before stripping away the fruit portion to expose the beans.
The coffee shows flavour notes peach, mango, lemon, black tea and milk chocolate.
The coffee scored an impressive 87/100 on the SCA grading making it a proper speciality grade coffee.
All our speciality coffees are stored in a freezer to maintain "fresh as the day it was roasted" condition for up to 9 months after roasting
P.S. In the coffee world, "heirloom" is an umbrella term used primarily for ancient, wild, or unclassified Coffea arabica varieties native to Ethiopia.Heirloom coffees are highly prized in the specialty coffee market for their vibrant, complex flavors. Depending on how they are processed (washed vs. natural), you can typically expect: Intensely fruity (wild berry, strawberry, blueberry), heavy sweetness, and a syrupy body.
