The Elba IV is a newcomer to the South-African and is supported by Morrico Imports who imports many well known brands like Nuova Simonelli, Victoria Arduino, ECM, Grimac etc.
The Elba is built by hand, in Italy, by 969.Coffee and the finishes are of an excellent quality. As you will see on the video provided the design and build of the machine is very well thought out and the machine is very easy to work on.
The machine is fitted with the beautiful E61 group head with lever activation and with a brew pressure gauge right where you want it - on the group head!
Another nice feature of the machine is the sliding cup warmer that gives access to the water tank without having to remove your cups.
The drip tray is massive, made from stainless steel, easily removable and located in place with a strong magnet. This gets a big thumbs up!.
The Elba is available in a range of colour options, some with wood finishes on the portafilters and knobs.
The Elba has a powerful 1500W element that means it has a lot of steam power and quick recovery between shots.
Finally the Elba has a very modest footprint that will allow it to easily fit into tight spaces.
